The Job as Area Manager

As one of our area managers has had the opportunity to realize their dreams, we are now looking for another colleague for our operations in Fagersta.

Being an area manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. Together with your two managerial colleagues, you will lead approximately 85 employees who work on various customer assignments in the area. Your primary goal is to ensure that your employees have the opportunity to discover and develop their skills so that they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer.

As a first-line manager, you have a lot of contact with your customers and ensure that everything works as it should. Through good relationships, you and your colleagues develop the business and find opportunities for more job openings for Samhall's employees.

Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring that our customers are satisfied is therefore the core of our mission as a company. Therefore, everyone's efforts are directed towards creating the platform for you as an area manager.

What do we offer you?

As an area manager, you will begin your development journey with us as a leader, regardless of previous experience, and also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

You will be part of a large company with 24,000 employees and surrounded by over 800 colleagues across the country who have the same role as you. Here, you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the operations manager. You collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where you as an area manager play a vital role and where your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an area manager, you are operational, present, and can make decisions with high integrity. It is a requirement that you have experience from and thrive in an environment characterized by high tempo and with people at the center. We also know that you are comfortable in a leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks involved in a managerial position.

In addition to solid knowledge, it is our values that ensure our leaders thrive and do a good job over time. Your belief in the equal value of all people, that everyone has competence, and that work is of great significance is what motivates you in everyday life.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Leadership experience with personnel responsibility
• Experience in sales and customer relations with good results
• Experience working operationally with staff and customers
• Industry experience in production and/or service operations is an advantage
• At least a high school education
• Driving license B
